Calvinism and Infant Salvation (some resources)

It is False to say all Calvinists believe all dying infants go to hell. While some Calvinists believe this, not all Calvinists do.  A number of well known Calvinists believe all or most dying infants go to heaven despite having original sin [because saved in Christ]. Charles Spurgeon believed ALL go to heaven [link to sermon below]. John MacArthur strongly suspects ALL dying infants go to heaven. MacArthur wrote a book on the topic titled, "Safe in the Arms of God." John Piper believes ALL go to heaven [link below].

I'll be adding more links and resources whenever I can:

Curt Daniel's excellent series "The History and Theology of Calvinism" has 75 lectures. See his lecture on the topic titled, "The Election of Dying Infants." (download mp3)

Loraine Boettner's book "The Reformed Doctrine of Predestination" is a well known classic. Here's a link to that portion of the book on "Infant Salvation."

Two Protestants Debate Apostolic Succession (Sheffield vs. Ortlund)

Two Protestants debate Apostolic Succession. Anglican Jonathan Sheffield argues for Apostolic Succession. Baptist Gavin Ortlund argues against the formal doctrine of Apostolic Succession. As a Baptist I agree with Gavin, but it's good to hear a Protestant argue for Apostolic Succession.

Audio Recording of the American Standard Version translation of the Holy Bible

The American Standard Version translation of the Holy Bible isn't my number one favorite translation, but it is one of my favorite. Here's a great reading of the ASV. If it's too slow for you, most mp3 players can speed up audio. YouTube videos also have the feature of being able to adjust speed (faster or slower).
