The Pleasures of God by John Piper

 

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND John Piper's book, The Pleasures of God: God's Delight in Being God. The book is based on his series of sermons he preached in the 1980s. Here's a link to the original sermons. The book is just a greater development of the concepts in the series.

The American Standard Version translation of the Holy Bible isn't my number one favorite translation, but it is one of my favorite. Here's a great reading of the ASV. If it's too slow for you, most mp3 players can speed up audio. YouTube videos also have the feature of being able to adjust speed (faster or slower).

There are many freely available lectures and courses on various religious and philosophical topics at Reformed Theological Seminary.
